Brand new to TWG. My site requires very little of the functionality of TWG, as all I'm doing is showcasing images of clients' book covers with a link to an eBook. I want NO user interaction other than to have them click the link. Therefore, I would like to remove the upper bar where it reads "Please select a gallery." and "New window | Edit | Upload". If I could remove the entire bar, that's be better.

Also, I want only one gallery... I would prefer to have that open by default.

How can this be achieved?

You can disable everything in the config. Even the complete upper part.

And if you like no folders - put everything in the pictures folder.

And how is that done? I program in PHP, but am unfamiliar with TWG architecture.

Config - it is a simple config parameter you have to set. No programming at all.

e.g.
$hide_top=true;
hides the whole top menu.
or
$show_breadcrumb = false;
hides the breadcrumb
or
$hide_topnavigation=ture;
// (true/false) Show/hide the small navigation on the detail page.

And for the right side each function can be enabled/disabled...

How about reading documentation?

Just the first page...
