HELP, I should have left well enough alone. I tried to add a home link to my gallery home page. I created a file called "root.txt" with the link to my home page. I add the entry "$lang_back_link = "Home |" to the end of my lang. file, when that did not work I changed the permissions on my "root.txt" file only and my gallery stopped working. I got an error message. So i went to my web site control panel and deleted the "root.txt" file I created and deleted the line I added too the lang. file, But now I get a blank page. Help, what did I do Thanks,Jim |

Seems you have entered invalid php. Make sure you have a ; at the and and the " are matching. - Michael |

? you editied something which was not valid. So you have to either fix it or use my original file. Best, Michael |

Hello Michael, I understand. The only file I changed was the "lang" file and created a "root.txt" file. I replaced the lang. file I changed with the original and deleted the root.txt file I created. Still not working. I guess I will reinstall TWG and start over. Thanks,Jim |

but if you get an error message you should excalty see in which file you have the error. - Michael |

this is most likely because I suppess warnings when I load content where users can edit like the config.php. Easiest for you is to use the patch from the website. - Michael |

Hi Michael, Huray I got it working again.How ?, Permissions ,. Somehow the permissions for the folder TWG was installed in got changed.A few tweeks and I am back to normal. If I could just figure out how I got my background image to display.I have been to the install guide,made the entry in the "my_style.css" file,can't get it to work. I think I have the line entered correctly, body {background-image: url ('buttons/1111001315.new.jpg') }. Thanks for all your help, Jim |
