| Post subject: | Processing videos with standalone TFU uploader |
This is a followup to an earlier post about using the standalone TFU uploader so people can upload to my site without logging in (it is already password protected). Now I would also like visitors to be able to upload videos too, using TFU. The problem is that I am not sure how to implement the automatic video processing using ffmpeg (detecting video type, converting to flv, etc). I am no php scripter, so I cannot seem to figure it out myself ;-( In TWG the important scripts appear to be tfu_upload.php, twg_helper.php and twg_plugin.php. However my standalone TFU uploaders is in an entirely different directory and I am not sure how to incorporate these scripts into the other standalone install of TFU. Any tips? |

You should write your own plugin for TFU. There you can do the conversion. When using ffmpeg it is a couple of lines you have to add. You find a lot of plugins on the TFU page. - Michael |
