I would like to know what I could disable (or where?) to use the minimum disk space, because I only use the slideshow feature directly with URL.

Thank's

Hi,

Which slideshow type are you using?

The maximized is creating everything on the fly because the created images would get too large.

Normal only generates the small ones

The optimized version needs a different format (x=y) because a border has to be added to get best results for the transition.

The latest download of 1.2 (from 24.8.) checks the size of the original images - if they are already in the right size the cache images are not created

I' don't use the maximise slideshow, in fact what I would like is:

a) uploade my original photo to tinywebgallery
b) link directly to slideshow using as most as possible my original photo, (no thumnail) with same size, same resolution
c) avoid to create extra copy of original photos to save disk space

Hi,

1.
You should use the normal slideshow because no slideshow images are created.
2.
Download the latest version - it does not create .small.jpg (but you can not protect your originals if they are already in the right size!!) if the images are already in the right size.
3. use images that are smaller than $small_pic_size (this is max x,y if $use_small_pic_size_as_height is false - otherwise this is the max y).
4. set $cache_time=1 in config.php. If small images are created they are deleted every day !

Have fun.
