I try to insert the gallery and this happens

Ignore $install_dir="../gallery/";

HI,

Page cound not be found ??

Have you modified config.php ? for include you have o do this ...

I havent tried with ../
only with a include in a subdirectory.

If you have a fixed width and height you can use an iframe with scrolling=no to - but you have to make sure that everything fits in the iframe (there is a bug in ie that causes a reservtion for the scrollbar - if the background of the gallery is the same as from your page this dos not matter - I planning a workaround for this behaviour but will be released with the next version which is still beta!)
