Dear all,

Does anyone know the captioned subject when doing save settings in TWG configuration windows. it hightlights in Red color and everything is not saved. This is the message I saw.
" The TWG main folder is not writeable. Check the 'Info' menu item"

I have done to set folder permission to 777 by FTP client. So please advice for that.

Thanks a lot!

Vincent

check if the main folder of TWG is writeable + the my_* files inside the main directory.

Do you get additional messages in the debug file?

Hi Michael,

It was happened again on my web gallery recently. The TWG main folder is not writeable. Check the 'Info' menu item.

There are no additional messages showing in debug log or on screen and also I found some my_* files still exists in main directory.

Please advice for that, thank you.

Have you checked the permission? Maybe your hoster has changed something.

I have checked the main folder and sub-folders are full permission. Nothing to change.

The problem was fixed by reinstall of new twg 1.8. Thanks!

BTW, how can I migrate the user comments from old twg to a new twg?
