Tabs in Admin are no longer working.

It happened suddenly in the release 1.8.7 and still there in the 1.8.9.
The problem in the same in localhost and online.
I tested it on Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OS X Lion with, for each OS, FF 14, Safari 6, Chrome 21 and IE 8/9

Javascript error is : showform is not defined.

The file admin\_js\admin.js is existing at the good place, so... ?

how have you updated? Sometimes this happens when not files get overwritten.
Have you tried to save the .htusers.php in the _config folder. Delete the whole admin folder and replace it with the one from the full download.

Which language for the admin do you use?
Because if you don't use de or en you might have not updated the admin language files which are an extra download.

Coming back after 2 weeks doing something else.

I updated TWG using a new directory ("twg189") renamed as the old one ("twg"). Of course, I previously renamed the directory "twg" in "twgOLD".
Then I copied the .htusers.php from previous directory and pasted it in the new one.

I used french language and downloaded good files at the good places. Anyway, even in english, it doesn't work !

Today I did again all these operations with a new download of twg 1.8.9. Always the same problem...

For whose interested, the matter was the .htaccess in which admin files were blocked.
