Hallo,

nach dem Update auf TWG 1.8.4 habe ich in der debug-Datei täglich diese Meldung stehen:

XML error increaseCount: unclosed token at line 1 (xml/xxxxxxxx_Bilder_image_counter.xml was renamed to xml/xxxxxxxx_Bilder_image_counter.xml_20110707034213.bak - please check this file if you want to restore your data) - DATA:_?xml version='

Leider werde ich daraus nicht ganz schlau und bräuchte etwas Hilfe.

das hat normalerweise mit der Version nix zu tun.
kannst du die beiden Dateien mal vergleichen?

was passiert, wenn du die Dateien direkt im Browser aufmachst.
Weil der validiert xml Dateien ...

Ich erstelle immer ein Backup, wenn beim einlesen ein Problem existiert.

Manchmal ist das auch nur der Fall, wenn php die Datei gerade schreibt und ein anderer Prozess die aus lesen will und dann nur einen Teil bekommt. Leider ist das ein reinen php Problem.
Ich hab geplant, dass man in der nächsten Version man optional noch eine Datenbank für diesen Counter anlegen kann.
aber wenn beide Dateien gleich sind dann ist es ja eh kein Problem. Dann hat mein internes Backup ja funktioniert.

Das ist ungewöhnlich - weil die sollten nur ab und zu mal kommen wenn dich php verhaspelt.

Sind die Dateien sehr groß?
