This came up when I tried to upload a file for user on the frontend. Could anyone tell me what settings I might have wrong and could fix?

I put none.

But, I cannot figure out what it means in the FAQ about the timeout for email.

The email comes notifying me that something has been uploaded. But, it doesn't actually upload.

I am sooo new to Joomla. So please bare with me.

Thank you for your help.

On the configuration, Flash Uploader Settings, Upload folder

I had the wrong information in that box. I looked at the Example Frontend Profile. I looked at the upload folder name was on that one and put in a similar description only with my folder information.

It worked. Sorry to have bothered you. But, I am impressed how you got back to me so soon!!

I actually did not see that. I will redo it the way it was and see if it shows up and will let you know.

I just recreated what I did and it did not show that the folder did not exist because it did.
I just put it in this way:
/home/content/h/s/v/hsvlandscape/html/joomla/images/VLUploaded

And to make it work correctly I put in:
images/VLUploaded

I just learned something new that will help me with some of my other programs. Thanks for forcing me to really look at the situation.

ah o.k. - path has to be relative and the check I do work with the full path too.

I'll change this in the next version.

Have fun using JFU
