I have a download problem with internet explorer 7 and 8! "Status: Error : io". I noticed that this problem only occurs with IE, NOT with Firefox and Opera. Strangely upload works excellent, also with IE. I tried already to delete the browser cache, without success. Because everything works in Firefox I guess that all my settings are ok.

Any idea?

We are having the same problem here...
Downloads with IE9 work fine. But IE8 and IE7 get the "Error : io" message" after hiting SAVE on the file dialog popup. Firefox and Chrome work fine. The problem is that our customers are mostly using XP (IE9 not supported) and don't want to install another browser just for this prupose. Tested with the latest Flash (10.x) with no luck.
Any suggestions?

enable direct download in the profile.

Not all server do allow the download through https with ie. I do optimizations here all the time but it seem impossible to get it work on https on all browser.
