Icons at the top say T_Config and T_User.

The whole interface looks cryptic. Tabs that show this:
JFU_M_1 JFU_M_2 JFU_M_3 JFU_M_4

Everything is made up of words with underscores like this:
E_H3_PROFILES

It looks crap and I can't let my clients use this as is.

How do I fix this?

Thx

Hi,

reinstall the component. It looks like the language files is not there.
you can enable the debug and check if the language files are loaded.

Hi Michael,

Thx for the reply.

I did reinstall it and this time it worked as I had changed the permissions on the language folders.

However there must still be a permissions problem somewhere on some folder or file.

I can save the Joomla Settings but I can't get the Flash Uploader Settings to save (like the Upload Folder & Resize Values) even though I get a confirmation that the settings were saved. My new settings simply don't show up on the Uploader Screen.

The JFU works fine on my test machine but just not on my live machine. What file or folder do you think is causing this problem.

Check if you have set the session save path to none.

Hi Michael,

I changed the setting from Database to none.

My settings are being saved in the Database but they will not reflect on the uploader screen.

ie: Path says 'undefined'
Resize options say 'Original'........ rather than my 640,480,240.

Thanks very much.
Pierre

Are the settings correctly shown in the profile?

If you mean the Joomla Settings 'tab' screen and the Flash Uploader 'tab' screen, then yes. The Joomla settings show on the Uploader page though. So that aspect is being saved properly and working fine.

It's like everything is in place the way it should be and the way it is on my other server (where it does work) but the settings will not show on the Uploader screen.

A really weird and annoying problem.

I even uninstalled (with keeping old setting) and reinstalled but still does not work.

Whatever file (function) grabs the info from the Database to diplay the Path and the Resize options is simply not working. Could it be likea permissions thing on an .ini or .php file?

Cheers

It seems that the parameters are not passed to the flash via the session properly on this server.

check if you have a session_cache folder in the tfu folder of the component. If not - create one and make this folder writeable and retry.

Hi,

I created a session_cache folder as there was not one. Permissions are 777.

Unfortunately that did not fix the problem.
