Joomla 1.5.14
Session Handler set to none

JFU 2.10.4
Error when uploading: Upload failed. 1 file(s) of 1 could not be uploaded.
File size is 477 KB

Here is the error from the log file:
Code:
12.01.2009 10:24:00 - Config call or illegal direct access or missing session settings - browser has to be closed to get a new session: PHPSESSID=mv3evgdgtqgrg5uiekamufqmh3

12.01.2009 10:24:00 - 1. Config loaded

12.01.2009 10:24:00 - 2. Authenification NOT sucessfull

12.01.2009 10:24:00 - It can be possible that someone tried to upload something without permissions! If you think this is the case the IP of this user is logged: 96.245.89.18. He tried to upload the following file: iPhone 004.JPG

12.01.2009 10:24:00 - Or it is possible that the session handling of the server is not o.k. Therefore TFU simulates a basic session handling and uses the session_cache folder for that.

12.01.2009 10:24:00 - Directory session_cache could be created! TFU does now an internal session handling. Delete the directory session_cache to turn the internal handling off.

12.01.2009 10:24:00 - It seems that the session handling of the server is not o.k. TFU already tried a workaround that does not seem to work. TFU deleted the session_cache folder. Maybe it was created because of a wrong request! Please report this in the forum to find a solution!

I hope that's enough info to help me. I'm using rackspace as a host. I've messed with CHMOD and tried to set everything to 777 (then changed it back obviously when it didn't work). I tried the .htaccess trick and it would let me even load the flash uploader so I deleted it.

Any hel would be greatly appreciated (oh, and yes I am using a registered copy).

Thanks so much!

your server does not seem to handle the session properly - is Joomla running fine with session handler set to none?

you can try to manually create the folder session_cache in the tfu folder and set it to 777.
the find tfu_config.php and set $keep_internal_session_handling = true;

and retry.

That worked perfectly! Thank you so much! You really saved my @$$ on this one and just in time. I got a meeting about this tomorrow morning!

*** I left a good review on joomla.org for you. Thanks again for your prompt response.

I just followed your directions. Created the directory myself, chmod to 777 and edited $keep_internal_session_handling = falser; to $keep_internal_session_handling = true; and tested it out. I got no errors, the image uploaded and resized as needed.

You want me to chmod to 755 and see if it still works?
