Before it worked fine for a short time and the picture popped up with Slimbox as it was supposed to. Now, when I can get it to work at all the only result of clicking on the thumbnail image is to load the larger picture into a new browser tab with none of the effects.

For instance:

Do I need to have Slimbox loaded with a different uploaded Module, Plugin or Component specific to it, or does JFU include this in itself? I have cleaned out some apparently excess Modules etc and think that may have eliminated it in the first case.

JFU and slimbox? JFU does not come with slimbox.
Where should there be a connection at all?

I only have an integration of the flash thumbnail strip of TWG and slimbox.
