I'll try a different implmentation at the retry. with my image magick i can have the source and the destination the same.
Maybe your installation does not allow this.

You you able to test the standalone version of TFU? Because there I changed the implementation there already.

For JFU it will take a little bit longer because I already add new features there.

JFU 2.10.4 is available where I have changed the image magic implementation. Try it. If this does not work then image magic is not installed properly on your system.

then You could only ask your hoster to execute the command from the debug file directly and check which error message is shown.

great - then the problem was that on your server the resize was not allowed in the upload temp directory.

you should now turn the debug off ;).
