hello,

i have installed jfu on a world4you server.
when i open the jfu plugin in front or backend my configuration aren't used and no folders/files are displayed.

in tfu.log i got:
- Session data could no be restored
and
Illegal direct access or missing session settings - browser has to be closed to get a new session: PHPSESSID=...

if i set joomla session handler to none, i cannot login anymore, i always get back to the login...


on my local server jfu work perfectly also with session handler database.

please help me.

This is your problem:

you have to set the session save path properly. This is why Joomla does not work with setting the session save handler to none.

On the local server it works because the session save path is set correctly.
JFU does work with setting the session save handler to database. But on the config page I show what is not working then.

you can try to create a folder called session_cache - see http://www.tinywebgallery.com/en/tfu/web_faq.php#1 4.7 - but this shoul be the last option.

thanks, this was the solution. now it works.
but i have another question:

i want to use image magic for resizing and watermarking of the pictures while uploading.
how can i do this? i have enabled imagemagic in the configuration but there is an error, that it ist not supported...
when i upload pictures, i got no error from imagemagick etc.

but i know that it works on the server, i have testet it with:
/usr/bin/php_safemode/convert -resize 640x480 ...

so how can i enable it and how is the command??

set the command with the full path in the config. seems convert is not in the path.

something like this:
mogrify -resize 640x480

i would like to resize it and to overlay with a watermark (text or image).

i cannot find an example for this. is there a log or how can i test it?

you have to set

$image_magic_path='/usr/bin/php_safemode/convert';

if you want to edit the full command you have to search for image_magic_path and modify it in the code.

btw. Watermarks are added by TWG. but here gd lib is used.
