Let me preface everything by saying that I am not a web developer- I'm just struggling through, reading and learning as I go.

All I get is an error (error : io) when I try to upload a file, on both the backend, and the frontend. I am using Joomla v 1.5.9, and JFU v 2.8.3. I received the error before I edited the php.ini file, and after. I have access to the remote server logs, but I do not have a JFU log file anywhere. I am using the JFU via the plug-in. The Session Handler is set to none.

I have edited the php.ini file to look like:
upload_max_filesize = 200M
post_max_size = 200M
max_input_time=1800
max_execution_time=1800
default_socket_timeout=1800

I've checked the permissions, and all is fine. Any ideas?

And I was all prepared to be indignant- of course I read the FAQ!!

... And then I read it again, and I thought maybe, just maybe, the cache isn't cleared. So I fired it up in Firefox (instead of Safari, in lieu of clearing the cache), and poof! It worked. Damn, I feel dumb.

Thanks for your help.
