Now that I've fixed my "undefined" problem (thanks again) I cant seem to get JFU to load in the frontend. It did work before but the flash was experiencing the undefined problem. Since then I performed a fresh install and created new menu items for the JFU component.

Now I only get the error message:

You have not specified the parameter for a profile or group id in he 'Menu Manager'. Please enter a valid id there.

I have specified a valid profile id to use and also tried switching to group id using a valid group id.

There is no tfu.log and my server isn't throwing any errors for the page.

have you maybe enabled the caching of pages?

by default a froned profile with id 2 is created. What have you entered in the menu manager?

Caching is not enabled.

I have 3 profiles, id 1 ->admin, id 2->frontend and id 3->active. Both frontend and active have the group id 2.

Trying with the profile id i"ve used 2 and 3 with no luck.

Under group ID I've used 2 also with no luck.

The solution is to add the profile or group id in the menu item.

and this is actually no solution. This is the way you have to do this ;).

Go to the menu entry and check the basic parameters on the right side.
