I have enabled administrator password security by adding a login to get to the administrator. This has affected the ability to upload from the front end. I get the following message in the error log:

"/administrator/components/com_jfuploader/tfu/tfu_login.php": Password Mismatch

Is there a way to override this so that I can continue to have the backend administrator protected from hackers.

Please advise.

I did it through the hosting control panel by adding a private directory /administrator requiring a login to get to the login page. It's a standard practice and has been recommended as one of the things to do to combat the latest brute force attacks.

Than you have to move the tfu folder to the site. This can be done in on the config page.
