Hi

Does anyone know how to automatically create a set additional folders within the master profile when a profile is created. I need to have specific sections within a users' folder.

Also, is there any way that I could automatically create a copy of a word document in each folder (which cannot be deleted). It is a blank mark scheme document for pupils' work which could be updated by a teacher upon marking the uploaded files.

Thanks

Mark

creating some files is easy by modifiying the Joomla part of JFU.
You have to do this by yourself.

There is no readonly option for files yet. It's an interesting feature I'll put on my todo list.

Hi there,

can you give me a hint on how to automatically create an empty index.htm in new Master-Profile folders, or is there an other way to disable direct browser-acces to users folders?

Otherwise it would be great to add this feature to the config.

Thanks a lot for this great component!

Hi,

this can be done by putting a .htaccess into the master folder.

In the next version I'll add the possiblility that a default structure is created. Means you have to create a source directory and this directory is then copied to every newly created user folder.
An easy one can contain only an index.htm. Or you can already have 2 folders and a readme in this folder ... ;).

But as 2.8.3 was just release there won't be a new release this month ;).

it is included in 2.9.

it was actually already included in 2.8.3.2. Below is the text from the howto.

New 2.8.3.2: You can copy a default folder structure with files and folders to a new created user directory. You have to create a folder called 'default' in the directory components/com_joomla_flash_uploader. Everything inside the default folder is copied to a user directory when it is created. This can be a simple index.htm but also a full folder structure.
