Hi,
I have installed the JFU uploader component, and it is working in the backend. Also I have been adding users to profiles.

However, i still get an error message on the front end:

You have not specified the parameter for a profile or group id in the 'Menu Manager'. Please enter a valid id there.

Are there any other parameters that I must set in order to get the component to work? Do i need to add variables in the address bar also?

Do exactly what the error message says. On the right side are basic parameters where you have to enter the profile or group id.
And to understand how groups and profiles are related please click on the Help Button in the component and look for -> How to use the Joomla Flash Uploader in the front end.
