I have version 2.14.3 up and running, used it twice as separate menu option, within a joomla 1.7 site, all working fine.

Issue; if I type the direct URL to an uploader (taken from the menu url when logged in), in any webbrowser, it opens up even if i'm not logged in. Is there any way to prevent this or am I missing some info/knowledge how to configure JFU?

Couldn't find a appropriate answer browsing through the forum.
Many thanks any way upfront...

This is a Joomla configuration thing. Make sure that the menu item you use for JFU is also protected. e.g. only showing a submenu when logged in is not enough.

Then the normal Joomla login mechanism is used and the user has to login first.
