my fix only removes the

GET /html/buttons/smilies/HTTP/1.1 > 404

What you can do:

set
$enable_enhanced_debug=false;
to
$enable_enhanced_debug=true;

Then the request that is sent is printed to the log file too. then I know exactly where it happens.

I installed the new script (1.7.3.2) (deleted browser- and session-cache). The debug file is empty now.
