Is it possible to nest a shortcode within the Advanced iFrame Pro shortcode?

Something like this:

[advanced_iframe securitykey="ABCDEFG" src="[MYSHORTCODE FIELD="CUSTOM_URL"][/MYSHORTCODE]"] [/advanced_iframe]

The shortcode I want to use pulls a url from a custom field. I had this working on a previous version of your plugin but the old code no longer works.

Help! Thanks :)

Yes. this is supported in the pro version.

See the documentation of the url field. [] needs to be replaced by {{}} because Wordpress would filter this otherwise.

Great, glad to hear this is supported in the pro version. I have already upgraded.

I have followed the syntax you described, thank you. When I use the double braces, the resulting iframe url is broken. Instead of using the src url from the 3rd party plugin, the plugin shortcode parameters are appended to the site url.

Here is an example of what happens:

I use this set of nested shortcodes in a post:

[advanced_iframe securitykey="ABCDEFG" src="{{myshortcode field='url' output='raw'}}{{/myshortcode}}"][/advanced_iframe]

The url in the advanced iframe becomes:

http://www.mysite.com/my-unique-post-name/{{myshortcode field=

Any idea of what is happening here?

{{myshortcode field='url' output='raw'}}{{/myshortcode}}
is not supported. Only
{{myshortcode field='url' output='raw'}}

Thank you for your help, I appreciate the fast replies.

I used the following syntax:
[advanced_iframe securitykey="ABCDEFG" src="{{myshortcode field='url' output='raw'}}"]

Unfortunately I get the same result:
http://www.mysite.com/my-unique-post-name/{{myshortcode field=

What does the shortcode alone generate?

I just tested with my simlple shortcode and there it works fine.

The 3rd party shortcode alone outputs a url. Your shortcode also works when I input a url in the src parameter.

PROBLEM SOLVED by Michael (who is awesome!)
Issue was with my install of the Advanced iFrame Pro plugin. Somehow old free version had overwritten the good Pro version. I reinstalled a fresh version and everything is beautiful. Thanks a million.
This plugin is AWESOME.
Thanks again for all your help!
