 24.11.2008 - JFU 2.8.1 for Joomla 1.0.x and Joomla 1.5.x is online

The Joomla Flash Uploader 2.8.1 is now ready. This version has some small layout improvements and fixes a couple of minor bugs.

• New: Session recovery was improved.
• New: plugin can now included in <!-- --> to be invisible when disabled.
• New: Master profile login names are always converted to lowercase.
• Fix: the css in the backend was sometimes not loaded because I add it dynamically in css. Not it is static again.
• Fix: The mambot was using a undefined variable which was throwing an error message depending on the joomla error settings. Now the right variable is used.
• Fix: The upload folder has to be relative. The check was not checking if the path started with a / which is not right. Now this check is done as well.

 12.11.2008 - JFU 2.8 for Joomla 1.0.x and Joomla 1.5.x is ready

The Joomla Flash Uploader 2.8 is now ready. A versions for Joomla 1.0.x and 1.5.x is available. TFU 2.8.0.2 is now integrated and a lot of new features were added to the JFU backend.

• New: Update JFU to TFU 2.8 with all the new stuff that comes with it - check the TFU website for details! Everything from 1.7.5 is new to JFU.
• New: Many new parameters can be configured directly within Joomla
• New: Master profile. you can create a profile which automatically creates a subfolder for each registered user.
• New: Folder check. There is now an Ajax check that verifies if the folder you enter in the config does exist and is writeable!
• New: Check if image magick is available
• New: lots of small stuff to enhance the handling of JFU
• Fix: The css is now dynamically added to the header. Makes the component w3c conform in the frontend.
• Fix: The description of many parameters where not very good. I reworked many of them. If you find they still need improvement please give me a better text.
• Fix: Many small stuff you might have not even noticed.

 04.11.2008 - JFU 2.8 RC 1 and TFU 2.8.0.2 are ready

JFU 2.8 RC 1:

The Joomla Flash Uploader 2.8 is now ready for testing. A versions for Joomla 1.0.x and 1.5.x is available. TFU 2.8.0.2 is now integrated and a lot of new features were added to the JFU backend. Check the forum thread for details.

TFU 2.8.0.2:

TFU does now work with php 4.4.x again. I refactored the zip functionality which I added in TFU 2.8 that it does not need php 5.x anymore.

 18.10.2008 - TFU 2.8 and TWG 1.7.5.1 is ready

I have finally finished the refactoring + a couple of new features have found their way to TFU 2.8. TWG does now support different button sets. 6 colors are already included. If you have create your own buttons please send them back to me. I'll include them for other users.

TFU 2.8:

• Refactoring of the php side is now finished. I'll start with JFU soon ;).
• New: (flash + php) You can now enable that multiple files are downloaded as one zip that is created dynamically. You have to make sure that you have enough space and the zip folder where the zip file is created dynamically is writeable.
• New: (xml) Catalan language file. Thanks to Bernat Garrigós.
• New: (php) Edition is shown on the tfu_config (tfu_login) info screen.
• Fix: (flash) When switching between languages and the loading took a little bit longer the text edit screnn was visible for a short time. Now it's hidden during startup.
• Fix: (flash) The remote view was shown when the login is shown even when the remote view should be hidden. Now this parameter is processed before the login check.
• Fix (xml) A couple of language files where not valid xml. I rechecked all and fixed the errors.

TWG 1.7.5.1:

• New: Support for icon sets - but right 6 different color sets are included. Check the buttons/iconsets folders and use the foldername as setting for $icon_set
• New: The small navigation can be hidden by setting $hide_topnavigation=false;
• Fix: Opera does not support the round corners properly. Therefore I splitted the css and for Opera the old style is used!
• Fix: The fading effect was not working under Opera before. Thanks to Hubertus it does now work there too.
• Fix: Support for IE8 - I enabled the IE7 compatability mode.
• Fix: I optimized a few skins. They are now optimized for iframe include under IE as well.
• Fix: Focus in iframes was not set anymore - now it does work fine.

 04.10.2008 - TWG 1.7.5, TFU 2.7.8 and the new website released

A couple of nice improvements have again found their way to TWG. For users especially the round corners and the private.txt that works now recursive are most interesting. All installs should be updated because full support for Firefox 3 is now included!

New website design

The TWG website has a new design. Everthing should be now easier to find. I removed duplicate stuff and reordered the FAQ page. Have fun with the new design. Thanks to Jackson Michael for the icon set.

TWG 1.7.5:

• New: Support for round corners. See the new howto 50 for details.
• New: Rekursiv private.txt. Not every folder does now need his own one anymore!
• New: Better root.txt support. Using it shows everthing like on the 1st page - thanks to Hubertus for the code
• New: New skin - "round corners". Can be used for the default skin to get round corners + can be used as template if you use your own skin to get round corners. check the skin folder.
• Fix: The Ajax thumbnailstrip was very slow because of a css bug in Firefox 3. Don't use border style inset in FF3. Seems to be buggy ;). I have changed the style and now it is very fast in FF3 again.
• Fix: Keyboard navigation for IE7 was not working because of a change in 1.7.4. Now it works fine again.
• Fix: Remote images were loading very slow in the popup because a function that does not support remote images was used. This caused the browser to wait a couple of secounds.
• Fix: A couple of fixes made it to this version that where found by Hubertus. Thanks for the support.

TFU 2.7.8:

• New: (php) Support for my_tfu_config.php. Store your changes to tfu_config.php here. Then you can easily update TFU by overwriting all files.
• Fix: (php) Some function declarations where missing the & for calls for reference. On some systems (php > 5.2) this gave a warning.
  

 01.07.2008 - TWG 1.7.4 and TFU 2.7.6 released

A couple of nice improvements have found their way to TWG. Especially the usage of the new Lytebox script is very nice because the new script is better, much smaller (only 40%) and does support iframes! Read the updated howto 33. Every user should update because of a bug in the TopX calculation. Only the 10 first directories where used for the calculation by mistake!

TWG 1.7.4:

• New: Lytebox is now integrated! It replaces the normal liteboxbecuase it support iframes (read the updated howto) and is only 40% in size!
• New: Official support for Firefox 3.0 ;). Everything was working fine ;). You need Flash 9 for a fully working thumbnails flash!
• New: Custom sorting of directories is now supported. You have to use a file called config_sort.php for this! Read howto 6 for details.
• New: The key 'Esc' does now close the maximized view!
• Fix: Resetting the session was done twice instead of once. Some images where missing for one request. Now they are show right away!
• Fix: Only the first 10 diretories where included in the topx because of a recursion problem. Now it works like it should!
• Fix: The album exporer was not working selecting the menu items anymore after the data is loaded from the cache. The session info was not stored to the cache. Now it is and even at direct links the right menu item is selected.
• Fix: funpic.de changed it's layer ad's. I adopted TWG that they are now again removed ;).
• Fix: When using php include and direct download was enabled the popup was not found. Now the popup is displayed fine.
• Fix: Full piclens support again - they update their plugin very often and change the encoding every time :(

TFU 2.7.6:

• New: (php) Better normalize function. Does now not replace everything by _ but e.g. ä with ae or an é with e.
• Fix: (flash) the base dir was added twice - the flash could not be used like described in howto 8 - not it can. This is only intersting if you use the flash in a different directory than the other TFU files!
  

 08.06.2008 - TFU 2.7.5 released + Updates of JFU and TWG + Restructure of the website

I have worked a lot in the last weeks to cleanup every small thing I found in TWG/TFU/JFU. Therefore there is a update for everything.

+ The website structure has changed! I removed the frame layout and made the whole page much better to bookmark. I optimized a lot of links and if you use TWG you should update to 1.7.3.2 that all links do still work fine!

TWG 1.7.3.2

• New: You can now show/hide the breadcrumb by setting $show_breadcrumb
• Fix: The flash uploader was not working the first time with certain server settings. Now the reset of the session settings is done different and this works on all systems!
• Fix: The website structure has changed - TWG does now use the new links - the old ones still work but are only redirected.
• Fix: A couple of very small fixes - Check the history.txt for details.

TFU 2.7.5

• New: Description mode - you can enter a description next to the file name. This is saved in a txt file or added to the upload e-mail - This is only available in the professional version or above.
• New: Custom http error messages can be set. You have to add your custom messages to the language file. Check the howto of the TFU FAQ page if you want to do this. This is only available in the professional version or above.
• Fix: image magic support was not working because one helper function was missing - now it works fine again.
• Refactoring: tfu_config.php is now a real config file. The flash reads now the tfu_login.php where the login is handled. Read the new howto about TFU and security!

If you update you have to migrate your settings to the new tfu_config.php. The file structure has changed. Therefore I recommend to do a clean install!

JFU 2.7.4.2 for Joomla 1.0.x and Joomla 1.5.x

• Fix: E-Mail notification was not using the Joomla login and the e-mail was not formated. Now it is.
• Fix: Because of a php bug the wrong license type was shown on the help page. Now the correct one is shown.
