You also find the WordPress plugin advanced iframe with some demos and examples here.
We have a multi-site and we use a master template with about 50 pages with product information. We use the master template to clone all the sub-sites because there is no way to broadcast the page changes across the network as of yet. We found your advanced iframe to be a very viable solution however having to add the new security code to every page when i clone a sub site will take me forever because we have 50 pages x 100 sub-sites. The is 500 copy & paste. So my question to you is can we create a sub-site where the key is the same as the main template site on the network so that when we clone the keys are automatically in the pages or in another words 1 key per site network or … is there anyway to get this plugin to automatically assign the keys to each page when I clone the site from the master template. I mean the sub-site would have its own key but they would be automatically generated and inserted in the shortcode on the pages when the site was created. Desperately need a solution to this problem and we await your answer. Thanks.
This is very easy.
simply open the advanced-iframe.php and set a fixed key in line 41 BEFORE you install the plugin!
then all installs get the same key.
Im trying to get my head around it, rather then waste more time I thought I would contact you because I am sure the solution is easy.
I have created a test website;
I want to create an iframe to display the data on this website;
I only want the data to be displayed, so I don’t want the CMHC reference and anything else. Just the interactive chart. How do I hide those things?
your assistance is much appreciated friend.
Have you read the advanced section how to hide stuff from the incuded site?
Do you meet the requirements to hide something on the included site?
1. Same Domain
2. you are able to include an iframe into the remote site?
I’m trying out your Advanced iFrame but it certainly looks way beyond my abilities (a mere user of WordPress).
Basically, I am trying to embed the following:
You can view this with:
I am trying to limit the iFrame to NOT show the Header (GOLDPRICE)and only show from the Title (e.g. “Gold Price USD1673.59 2.21″) of the Chart all the way down to the 24-hour drop box.
The final effect is to be like that on this site which achieved the same effect with php, I believe:
I would be most grateful for your help.
The code did not show up:
Trying again after removing and
…iframe src=”http://www.goldprice.org/” frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” width=”265px” height=”265px” header=”none”></iframe…
I want to create more iframes into pages or posts. what security code or how do i do that? pleasee
The security code is the same for all shortcodes.
you can define a different src and id for each shortcode you enter.
Please see the documentation for the available shortcodes.
And please select a better place for your questions than the “about” page for your problem the next time.
